The King Edward Park Community League is seeking a muralist to complete a mural on the Northside of the KEP Large Hall (7708 85 Street NW, Edmonton, AB T6C 4K9). We invite artists and artist teams to submit proposals to create an original artwork. The chosen artist(s) will be expected to complete the project by Aug 15, 2022.
The goals of the project include:
Create an original artwork relevant to King Edward Park residents
Contribute to King Edward Park’s cultural identity
Inspire a sense of pride in King Edward Park Community
Eligibility: Edmonton and area artists
Project: Large hall mural project
Project budget: Up to $10,000
Proposal Deadline: March 15, 2022
We are happy to announce the King Edward Park rink is ready for skating (8008 81 Street NW). The lights will come on @ 4pm and off at 10 pm, the rink shack will not be open (as we do not have volunteers).
You will need to have your skate tags for the skating season. There are two options to get a membership.
1) Online at http://efcl.org/membership there is an addition $5 administration fee doing business online. With membership in hand you'll still need to get skate tags for skating season.
2) Touch base with Renee, our membership chair and arrange to pick up with her. You can call her at 780-462-7001. You get skate tags, a receipt, a membership card and a skate tags (don't forget to ask).
